I'm gonna give you some tips on how to spend less at SM Dpartment Store and Supermarket.
Sale Items
Have you notice the color coding of tags?
These are:
White = regular price
Yellow = discounted price / with promo
Orange = lowest price
If you're gonna do shopping and you're on a tight budget or just don't wanna spend much like me, then you should consider looking for yellow / orange tags. Ask a saleslady, which items are on sale. Mostly, orange tag items are the few stocks left (inuubos nalang siguro) and the old stocks.
And here are some yellow/orange tag items that i bought:
Beverly Hills Polo Club long sleeves polo for my son.
Original price is P999, i bought it for P299 only.
I bought this fairy/butterfly costume set for P75 only. Can you believe it? Well, you have to. :)
I forgot the original price but I think it's around P375 or higher.
I always have my eyes on orange tags at the department store. ◕ ‿ ◕
SM Advantage Card
Being a member of SMAC is really an advantage for me.
This is how I use it:
1. I always bring green bags every time I buy at the grocery. It's an instant 2 points for each bag. And hey, it's a simple way to save Mother Earth too.
2. I can purchase at smacdeals.com
3. I do take advantage of the exclusive sale/offers/promos/raffles for the members.
4. Earn points through their external partners like PLDT Telerewards.
5. And then, I enjoy shopping with my points.
Etc. etc. So many perks and privileges.
Well, that's it. I hope you find it useful next time you go to SM. :)
